Pizza Poetry

Pizza is an unavoidable fact of life here in my mid-sized Midwestern town. I know, I've been harping on this since I started the blog, but I've just never lived in a place where pizza is brought everywhere, including poolside. However, pizza is my son Bartleby's passion. He likes a thin crust with black olives. Today I asked him if he could eat pizza every day and he said yes. On our last visit to The Pizza Place he composed the following poem:

You
and you
and me
are happy
because
we are eating
pizza!
